How many persons can the island accommodate?

The island can accommodate from a minimum of 2 persons up to 12 guests maximum. It is booked for one group at a time.

Is there a minimum number of night's stay?

The minimum requirement is 3 nights' stay.

What is included in the price?


• Unlimited a la carte dining prepared by your personal Chef's taking into consideration your cuisine preferences and tastes – whenever and wherever you wish.
• Unlimited premium quality selected Champagnes, wines and spirits as well as beverages from an extensive range.
• Unlimited spa treatments & therapies at any time by your professional therapists.
• Daily cruising of three hours within the atoll on your very own yacht.
• Full use of all non-motorised water sports and all associated equipment.
• Unlimited experiences including Island hopping, deep sea, line and reel fishing, sunset and moonlight cruises and all local Island explorations.
• Use of the crewed traditional fishing boat and speedboat.
• Unlimited diving with your very own personal PADI registered dive Instructor.
  Why not use the opportunity to sit your diving course, which is available up to dive master Level? Guests will require a minimum of three weeks to complete a dive master course and must have already pre-completed the theory.
• Complimentary use of all snorkeling, safety and diving equipment.

Guests will have privacy - the island, the butlers, the yacht, speedboat, dining anywhere- anytime and spa services, diving and island hopping and picnics at their own pace and time.

Will there be other charges?

There are other menus for more than the usual drinks offered, spa treatments, the excess of 3 hours yacht use, additional seaplane schedules and motorized water sports.

How many rooms does The Rania Experience have?

The island has One Rania suite composed of one Master bedroom and 2 guest rooms and in the east side of the island fronting the beach, there are 3 beach villas. All rooms have king-size bed.

When is the yacht available?

The RANIA yacht, a majesty 86-foot Gulf Craft luxury speed cruiser is at the guest's disposal daily for 3 hours and any additional hour rental is at a minimal rental fee of US$ 2,000 per hour.

When are the Spa Treatments available?

Spa Treatments are available anytime. You just inform the butler, the time and place and they will arrange that the spa therapists are ready. You can stretch out either in the Spa, on a pavilion, at the waters edge, in their room or anywhere you please and let the therapists wash away the stress. The Spa Treatments are extensive with Thai and Ayurvedic treatments along with pampering body rituals and scrubs, facials, manicures and pedicures.

How do guests reach The Rania Experience?

Guests will be met from their Private Jet or International Flight by one of the Private Butlers (after immigration) and escorted to the VIP Lounge at Maldivian Air Taxi Ltd to freshen and await a Private charter Seaplane – 14 seats (15-18 DeHavilland Twin Otter Sea Plane) to THE RANIA EXPERIENCE. The journey will take no longer than 35-minutes and is truly an experience in itself as they will be flying over some of the most beautiful scenery. (Note: Ground handlers for private Jet arrivals will be in the Tarmac and guide the guests through Immigration) Return flight will be escorted by the Butler, as well.

How do guests arrange for a diving tour?

Our PADI recognised dive centre and private instructor will be delighted to teach you if you are a beginner or advance your certificate if you are an experienced Diver. He will also be on hand for snorkel tuition and safaris. It may interest you to know we can give the Diving certification, our diving instructor can arrange for the course; however it would take a minimum of 5 days to get the certification. We also have a speedboat and a Dhoni that guest will be able to use at their pace.

How do I make reservations?

As soon as you have the dates of stay, all inquiries are provisionally blocked with option dates (21 days period) that will be automatically released. It can be extended upon advice. Moreover, if a booking is confirmed, the other provisional blockings for that period is informed.

What are there terms and conditions of a booking?

All information relative to your reservation, such as flight details, passport details, dietary requirements or special assistance should be received in writing 60 days prior to the arrival date.

What is the payment policy? Deposit Policy


• At the time of booking, a 30% deposit of the total Island Rental Rate is required to secure the booking and is non refundable or transferable.
• The remaining 70% balance should be received 60 days prior to guest arrival to finalise the booking and is also non refundable or transferable.
• The Management will make every effort to accommodate minor changes to the reservation up to 60 days prior to arrival. However, this remains at their complete discretion. Within the 60-day period, changes made may carry an administration cost of 25% of the total Island Rental Rate.

What is the No Show or Last Minute Cancellation Policy?


• Should any member of the reservation fail to show or wish to leave early no refund can be given for any monies paid.
• Should the booked reservation fail to materialise no refund can be given.
• Should the reservation number increase at the last minute or on arrival into Maldives, The Rania Experience is under no obligation to accommodate them.

How many staff is there in the island?

There are usually about 25 staff (give or take up to five persons) while the guests are in residence. The Butlers will be the main contact staff. The chefs during meal time will be meeting the guests and the boat crew based on the guests schedule. The 2 spa ladies will be available only when requested by the guests. No other staff will be visible, unless the guest requests.
